Storridge WI meet in the village hall on the second Thursday of each month at 7.30pm. We usually have a speaker and often the talk is illustrated with slides. On other occasions we may try a new craft together, such as making corn dollies or bracelets, which is great fun. Once or twice a year we have an ‘open evening’ and invite other local WI’s and in 2016 we celebrated our 80 th anniversary which was well attended. Our meetings end with refreshments and a friendly chat and the WI is a great way to meet other local women, especially in a village like Storridge which is very scattered. Visitors are always welcome – just come along. We also use the hall for our fund-raising efforts, including teas for other local groups, such as walkers. The hall has a well-appointed kitchen and a hatch which is ideal for serving refreshments.

Storridge Women’s Institute

The Art Group has its annual exhibition in October, in 2024 it will be in Storridge Village Hall. There are also permanent exhibitions at both Storridge and Cradley Village Halls, changed throughout the year.
